Replacement timber windows in Bassingham, Lincolnshire
We delivered replacement timber windows for this residential project in Bassingham, Lincolnshire. The home was already beautiful, so choosing the right product really mattered. For that reason, the product selection process was detailed. We brought a number of alternative solutions to the table.

The brief
The client wanted new windows that would suit the house and protect its appeal. However, the wrong replacement can quickly change how a home looks. Therefore, we looked closely at each option together with the client. In the end, both Lucent and the client agreed that only an engineered timber product would maintain the characteristics of the building.
Why we chose replacement timber windows
We selected our flush casement engineered Redwood windows for the project. Flush casements close level with the outer frame, which gives a clean and traditional look. Engineered timber is made from bonded layers of wood. As a result, it stays more stable than solid timber and is less likely to warp or twist.
We combined the frames with high-performance double glazing, which helps keep heat in and makes the home more comfortable. Finally, stylish antique black hardware complemented the finished look.

Bay windows and shaped frames
Bay windows and shaped frames added to the many features of this house. These details help make the property special. So, we made sure the new windows worked with them rather than against them.
